SIE SkyView™ Service Pricing

The Satellite Image Evidence (SIE) Group at Archer Geographic offers the SIE SkyView™ service for attorneys or other legal professionals in need of a visual aid for a courtroom or other presentation. Through the SkyView service, SIE Group specialists locate the best satellite or aerial image available for a site and case and produce a custom tailored court-ready graphic for one low price.

Standard SkyView Service Pricing

The SIE SkyView service offers litigators and their support teams a one-stop shop for image graphics. Using the SkyView service ensures our clients that they will receive the best satellite or aerial image graphic available for each case. Each image is properly scaled and prepared for court by experts to have the greatest visual impact, and handled according to strict protocols. When advantageous, satellite photos can be combined with other data and statistics, annotated to direct attention to specific areas, or overlaid with measurements or map features. Satellite imagery can also be rendered into a 3D perspective view, animated, or used to create a fly-over of a site for maximum visual impact.

Skyview service pricing notes:

(1) Based on single U.S. site, subject to availability. Includes basic annotation, scaling, and customization. Delivered in digital format; additional professional printing and output services offered at cost.

(2) Includes digital color image enhancements to optimize visual interpretability and appearance as determined by SIE Group specialist and specific application.

(3) Each data set is treated as a separate map layer (for example, parcel boundaries, roads, well locations, etc.).

(4) Applies when more extensive image annotation is required (such as labeling streets).

(5) Price varies according to the image and other data required and the client needs/sophistication of the animation or visualization. "Starting at" price based on customized fly-over in a Google Earth KML video clip or equivalent. 

(6) Complete printing, mounting, laminating, and other professional output and finishing services for courtroom exhibits offered in-house and through our printing partners, and is billed at cost.

SkyView Subscriptions

For attorneys or other legal professionals with an ongoing need for satellite image graphics for the courtroom, the SIE Group offers an annual subscription SkyView service. The standard annual subscription fee is based on the size of the law firm, and is $150 plus $5 per attorney per year. For example, a law firm with twenty attorneys would pay a $250 annual subscription fee, while a firm with one hundred attorneys would pay $650. This subscription can alternatively be based on a single office or practice within a law firm (e.g., just the Chicago office or environmental practice group subscribes).

The SkyView subscription offers member firms a 20% discount on all standard pricing for SkyView graphics and products, provides priority scheduling, and allows for consistent communication and delivery from an assigned SIE Group liaison familiar with the firm's particular ongoing needs. Alternatively, one flat annual fee can be negotiated, based on the size and needs of a specific practice, which then provides for unlimited SkyView graphics on demand throughout the year.
